Sonko's daughter rushed to hospital

Nairobi senator Mike Sonko was forced to suspend his New Year celebration after his youngest daughter was injured on Sunday, 1, 2017.

Sandra was hurt while playing with her friends

Sandra Mbuvi was lost her toe nail while playing with friends forcing the flamboyant senator to rush her to hospital where she was treated and discharged.

Sonko, through his Facebook page, asked Kenyans to wish her a speedy recovery.

 So painful,” said Sonko.

“What a sad day to start the New Year! My daughter while playing with colleagues lost one of her toe nails, was rushed to hospital, treated and discharged. Kindly join me to wish her a quick recovery.”

The Nairobi senator’s daughters, Saumu and Salma Sonko have amassed quite a considerable following on social media platforms.

However, their youngest sibling, Sandra, rarely gets the spotlight compared to her sisters.

The family is vacationing in the coastal region where Sonko also threw a Birthday party for his wife Primrose.
