As Donald Trump’s
 supporters celebrated his inauguration on Friday, and hundreds of 
thousands worldwide prepared to take part in the Women’s March to 
protest his accession, president Barack Obama and wife Michelle
 presented to the world their plans for the future. The couple posted a 
video on their new YouTube channel to announce the launch of their 
foundation.
“The Obama Foundation will be a living, working startup for citizenship -
 an ongoing project for us to shape, together, what it means to be a 
good citizen in the 21st Century,” the page explains. “We are based on 
the south side of Chicago and will have projects all over the city, the 
country, and the world.”
As well as explaining that they planned to take a holiday to get some 
much-needed rest and just be “still”, the duo urged people to help shape
 the foundation by getting in touch.
“We want to hear from you,” Barack Obama added. “Tell us what you want this project to be and tell us what’s on your mind.”
Before
 the project gets underway, however, the couple’s break begins in Palm 
Springs, where the Obamas will have some time away from the cameras with
 their daughters - having vowed to take them somewhere warmer than 
Washington DC, Us Weekly reports.
