Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed sensationally lost the AU top job to a Chadian
- The loss sparked some mixed reactions all over, with Mohammed jetting into the country on Wednesday, February 1, 2017
- Her arrival was met with pomp, and was capped with a very unique selfie of the fallen Cabinet Secretary
Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed arrived back in the country from Ethiopia to jubilation and celebration that showed that a number of people were behind her, despite the back-clash that came with her loss to the seat.
Amina Mohammed was received with a lot of support
As heartbreaking as the election results may have been, Amina Mohammed seems to have put the events behind her, at least temporarily as she was received by a number of prominent personalities who issued their congratulations for the brave fight.
Among the renown personalities was Julie Gichuru-an open admirer of women empowerment.
Julie was among the first persons to receive the Foreign affairs Cabinet secretary, and she was quick to share the moment on her Instagram with a rather inspiring caption, courtesy of her friend Amina Mohammed.

These were the words of the beaten Amina which seems to suggest that she is looking forward to more gripping challenges in the future.
Amina described herself as “the mighty that can bear loss” after the brave battle she fought.
“As the saying goes, anyone can deal with victory, but only the mighty can bear the loss,” she said during the luncheon as quoted by Nation.
