Controversial Kenyan Pastor Kanyari moves to court to unfreeze bank accounts

-Pastor Kanyari is much recalled for his controversial church and money ways
-He was exposed in 2013 following complaints from the public of being duped
-Kanyari has now moved to court in an attempt to save his millions
Defamed Kenyan Pastor Victor Kanyari has moved to court in an attempt to unfreeze his bank accounts.
Kanyari was in 2013 exposed for selling fake miracles and duping believers in giving monies and monetary gifts to the church with the promise that God would look into their issues.
The controversial pastor, after the expose by one of the media houses, had his bank accounts frozen for investigations.
Following complaints from some of his 'followers', police were allowed to obtain details from the bank including, cash transfer documents made by Kanyari between January 1, 2012 and October 2016.
He is now suing the Directorate of Criminal investigations as well as the magistrate courts over the account which according to him, has never been found guilty of money laundering.
"The orders freezing the account were unreasonably given and have caused me irreparable loss and suffering," An affidavit from the pastor stated.
The controversial pastor, who is husband to gospel musician Betty Bayo was subject to a lot of complaints from members of the public who claimed to have been duped into sending the infamous KSh 310 to his accounts for divine intervention.
