 Police in Eastleigh have killed the leader of the dreaded "Super Power Gang"

- This has pushed the other five members to retreat into hiding as police continue to hunt them down.

Police have gunned down the leader of one of the most dreaded gangs in Kenya, “The Super Power Gang”, in Eastleigh leading to the other five members to go into hiding.

The police have cracked on the group many times arresting them and have gunned down several of the members in previous years

The gang has been terrorising Eastlands residents for a long time leading to stabbings, muggings and even deaths. The leader was shot and killed by police in Eastleigh Section Three’s Biafra area last week.

An officer, who had just been transferred to the area recently, together with Shauri Moyo OCS shot the gang leader prompting the others to hide in fear, Ghettoh Radio reports.

The gang has been highlight this month and last month in numerous violent cases which have them robbing and harassing residents. Some of these incidents were caught on CCTV.

Also, another gang called Sky, which is an enemy of Super Power Gang, has been terrorising Eastleigh residents as they fight to control the estate according to the source.

The two gangs exchange fights which at times have led to death and serious injuries to the gang members and residents.
