- Joho made the remarks during a political rally in Likoni
The feud between Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and Deputy President William Ruto seems not to be ending soon, after the governor said he will not apologise for calling him a thief.Speaking in a political rally on Sunday, December 4 at Likoni, Mombasa County, the governor said he will not apologise to the deputy president for calling him a thief.
Joho said a thief will always remain a thief and that is why he could not apologise.
"I will not apologise, if you are a thief, you will remain just that. I will not apologise." he said.
The remarks by the governor comes days after several elders from the Rift Valley called on Joho to apologise or be cursed for insulting the DP.
The DP and and the Mombasa governor have been involved in several nasty spats.
The two leaders have viciously attacked each other on several occasions, with the recent one coming from the DP who called Joho an academic dwarf.
Ruto has also questioned how the Mombasa governor made his wealth
